I had no idea that Google was so massive, hence "Universe." I have used Google Earth to look at properties and just googled for general info - it's great for crosswords and trivia - and I've used all the top tabs. In looking under "more," I see that I can obtain information by using specific searches.
As for their products, there's a lot of downloading to do if you want to use them. Problems can occur when your computer can't hold and run it all.
I would recommend Google Universe to others, simply for the range of options.

Social Networking CPL 2.0
I have a love-hate relationship with Facebook. Where to start? (sound of finger joints cracking)
I like to look at how everyone is doing, i.e. the people that I know, but I don't want to be friends or share my privacy with a whole bunch of people that I don't know just because they know someone, who knows someone - unless maybe it's Keanu Reeves or one of the Fiennes brothers (God, how old am I?!).
We were just going through Facebook, helping another person get into it, and it is impossible to sort through all of the postings that everyone in the entire world has left on the site. I realized that I didn't even leave a message on the library wall, but even if I did, no one would see the tree for the forest. (I will go and do one now.)
Postsecret: I am a "bad" friend because I spend a lot of time on the computer at both my jobs and in my class. Ergo, I don't want to spend any more time on the computer when I am off regardless of who tries to e-connect with me...

Wikipedia CPL 2.0
I like the wikiavenues: quotes, species (everything you wanted to know about dandelions across the globe), news, and META-WIKI, for when you just can't get enough info!! Yay! But wait there's more: books, tionary, source, versity, and commons.
I read several pages on topics throughout Wikiworld, and I didn't come across any misgrammartizations. That's not to say they weren't there; I'm not the anal proofreader that I used to be.
I thought I had an item that wasn't wikied, so the cheer went up. But I was wrong, and my emotiwikies soon turned sad. Then I went back to work.

Delicious CPL 2.0
Delicious is okay... There is ton of information, and I can see how it is better than Google in the sense that I can check my faves from any computer, but MAN, am I getting sick of all the accounts and passwords and remembering which questions I am supposed to use in case I forget my password. It just goes on and on and on.
Someone suggested that I should use the same user name but have slight variations depending on the sites requirements. I have already done that! I walk away from the computer and POOF I forget because I have a bzillion different passwords and accounts.
Okay, I am done my rant. Stay tuned for an all new episode next week, same bat-time, same bat-channel.
